Matrix Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers S.A. (Broker at Lloyd’s),
a leading company in the industry with international presence, is seeking to hire an assistant accountant for the Finance division.
o Internal communication with departments to finalize monthly production
o Controlling/ assisting in reconciling claims
o Reconciliation of clients’ balances
o Communicating and corresponding with clients & intermediaries
o Collections of monthly client balances
o Preparation of bank remittances
o IT system coordination
o Implementing cash management policies according to directions
o Making interim & annual agreements on current accounts with Clients
o Co-ordinate with Assistant Accountant
o Lloyd’s platform entries, correspondence, execution of payments and collections
o Analytical thinking and problem solving
o Teamwork Oriented
o Effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders
o Taking initiatives
o Sense of code of ethics
o Finance / Banking Technical Skills
o Computer literature (MS Office, familiar with financial programs i.e. Kefalaio).
o Ideally, good use of ERP, Accounting programs, Microsoft Office tools
o Graduate Degree in Finance/Accounting.
o Proficiency in English & accounting/finance terminology.
o 1-2 years of experience in Banking/Finance related company, ideally.
o Familiar with Group reporting.
o For all males: military (national service) obligations must be fulfilled.
