About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Engineering Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Electrician is responsible for the general upkeep of the resort's electrical system. The Electrician reports to the Engineering Manager.

As Electrician, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Regularly inspect premises and electrical systems (wiring, fixtures, appliances) to ensure safety and proper functionality.
• Identify faults, hazards, and system failures, performing troubleshooting and repairing faulty wiring when necessary.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of outdated or defective electrical equipment and appliances.
• Review technical plans/blueprints and install new electrical systems or appliances as required.
• Respond to maintenance requests, prepare reports, suggest equipment improvements, and adhere to safety and performance standards.
• Communicate and ensure understanding of corporate policies, SOPs, and compliance with the MOHG Code of Conduct and regulations.

As Electrician, we expect from you: 

• Valid EU Passport or Hellenic Residence Permit.
• Electrician qualification certificate is mandatory.
• Working experience in a relevant role will be considered as a plus.
