Our Planning & Logistics Supervisor, located in Korinthos plant will ensure continuous alignment and cross-functional collaboration between the plant planning and internal business partners such as Internal Sales, Logistics, Procurement, Operations and Finance as well as supervise the operations in outbound logistics, in order to meet production and business needs at required performance levels and at optimized costs.
Key Accountabilities
Ensure production planning is consistently delivering achievable plans for manufacturing operations whilst minimizing production costs, satisfying customer demand and meeting desired service level
Manage and maintain a skilled, experienced planning team continuously improving the quality and the efficiency of plans delivered
Organize frequent stock counting to make sure finished goods inventory is accurate. Supervise warehouse operations according to manufacturing needs
Define stock policy and stock management approach for finished goods (stock level, ageing stock)
Optimize routing/delivery scheduling whilst maintaining high service level
Align with purchasing/procurement department to ensure availability of raw materials to respect requirements of production planning
Manages Safety, Health and Environment regulations related to warehousing and distribution activities
Share best practices and collaborate with production, purchasing and quality departments to drive continuous improvement
Your expertise will include:
University Degree preferable in Business Administration, Logistics/Supply Chain/Engineering
2-3 years of experience in similar position (Warehouse, Logistics, Inventory etc.)
IT literate (minimum excel, outlook, word)
Fluency in Greek and English
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to work in team
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Methodical and well organized, motivated by teamwork, collaboration and sharing knowledge
