Finance Manager

EmiCert, with an office in Chalandri, is seeking a Finance Manager to join its growing team.

EmiCert is a specialized carbon dioxide emissions verification body operating in the industrial, shipping, and aviation sectors in Greece. Accredited since 2005, the company—while headquartered in Greece—operates in more than 10 countries worldwide and holds a leading position in Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and support the accounting team in daily accounting entries and operations.
• Manage statutory obligations, including VAT, intra-community transactions, and withholding taxes.
• Manage month-end closing processes and support year-end closing and financial reporting.
• Contribute to accounts payable and receivable processes, including ageing reports and doubtful accounts monitoring.
• Monitor cash flow, execute payments, and perform bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency of ERP systems (SoftOne) and compliance with myDATA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with group policies as well as local regulatory requirements.
• Support process improvements, automation, and digitalization initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of Greek accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Experience in financial closing processes, financial reporting, and cash flow management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SoftOne) and myDATA reporting requirements.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Fluent in English
• Strong organizational & analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
