Position Purpose

Ensure the implementation of Health & Safety policies and procedures within the plant, controlling compliance with legal requirements and company standards, aiming to prevent accidents and continuously improve the working environment 

Key Accountabilities

  • Design, implement, and monitor the Health & Safety Management System
  • Conduct inspections and risk assessments across facilities and processes
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans
  • Train employees on safety procedures and proper use of PPE
  • Investigate incidents and prepare reports with preventive recommendations
  • Provide guidance on facility design, new processes, and equipment selection
  • Introduce methods and technologies for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Managers to ensure safety measures are applied

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (4-year program)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Health & Safety within an industrial environment
  • Excellent knowledge of H&S legislation and standards
  • Proven experience in drafting reports, policies, and procedures
  • Strong command of English language
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and training skills
  • Ability to manage projects, time, and resources effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office and general IT tools
