Louis Hotels, one of the biggest hotel groups in Greece and Cyprus, is seeking to recruit an individual for its hotel on Mykonos Island

                                                                  Sous Chef

Main Responsibilities:

  • Planning and designing menus for eating establishments.
  • Calculating costs and liaising with suppliers.
  • Directing kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff.
  • Overseeing the food preparation, cooking, and cleaning processes.
  • Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations.
  • Liaising with the general manager to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Culinary.
  • 3 years’ minimum experience as a Sous Chef in a 5* Hotel.
  • Excellent command of English language is essential; knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered as an asset.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, guest oriented and with a hands-on operations management approach.
  • Excellent MS Office, PMS-Computer skills.
