Role
We are looking for a Senior IT Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in firewall administration and a deep understanding of Next Generation Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, SOC, SIEM, and Vulnerability Management.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement firewall structures, including hardware selection, network configuration, and project planning.
• Manage firewall systems and core switches globally.
• Analyse, improve, and document firewall infrastructures.
• Handle change and incident requests within SLAs using internal ticket system.
• Support IT Security team projects related to Business Continuity Management and Disaster Recovery.
• Administer web application and core firewall systems at our main site in Germany.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in firewall administration in enterprise environments, inc. Fortinet products or F5 Big-IP.
- Strong knowledge of SOC, SIEM, and Vulnerability Management.
- NSE/CISSP Certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent English skills.
