Responsibilities

• Analyse and understand client finance and accounting processes and operational requirements
• Translate business requirements into SAP functional specifications and system configurations
• Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Finance modules, with particular focus on MBC (Multi-Bank Connectivity) and related banking integrations
• Work with developers to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and best practice SAP solutions, maintaining system performance and scalability
• Assist in system integration, technical design, and architecture decisions
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and optimisation projects
• Provide end-to-end support from requirements gathering through to testing, deployment, and post-implementation support
• Troubleshoot complex issues across configuration, integrations and custom developments 
• Facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and provide system demonstrations
• Support training and documentation for end users
• Knowledge and understanding of accounting configuration and setup within SAP S/4HANA ensuring alignment with business and regulatory requirements 
• Work closely with developers to convert functional requirements into technical specifications and best-practice SAP solutions 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related field 
• Previous relevant experience in application centric functional or technical roles
• Experience in business process analysis and optimisation, mapping client requirements to system capabilities, and defining and documenting functional requirements
• Hands-on experience with SAP technical development, including knowledge of ABAP programming, debugging, enhancements, and integrations
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance Modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Bank Accounting)
• Practical experience implementing and supporting SAP MBC (Multi-Bank Connectivity)
• Practical experience in treasury and payments operations
• Experience in large-scale finance transformation programmes
• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
• SAP certifications are desirable
