Mechanical Engineer – Entry Level – Site Engineer – Design & Build
BCT GROUP is a Leading company in Cleanroom Facilities development (design, turn-key construction, validation) for Pharma, Electronics, Advanced Materials and Space Industry. The company has a separate business unit focused on Cabling Industry providing solutions for niche technology applications such as HV/EHV cables Degassing, extruder lines Cleanrooms and production Lines Process Cooling.
BCT is looking for a Mechanical Engineer of entry level for the role of Site Engineer - Assistant Design & Build projects.
Role Description:
The scope of the Role is to assist the project site management time and contribute to the effective project accomplishment, technically correctly, on time and on budget with full compliance on the contractual technical specifications.
General Responsibilities:
- Assist in the first phase of the project: analyses, time schedules definitions, elaboration of detailed design, purchases, and subcontractors’ assignments.
- Reception of materials and goods
- Reception, checking and management of installation works equipment (cranes, lifts etc.)
- Daily works Progress Diary keeping
- Elaboration of drawings necessary for subcontractors’ coordination, shop drawings, and as built drawings
- Assist in Works supervision and coordination of the technical teams for the technically correct and on time accomplishment of works.
- Participating in meeting with the customer and third parts
- Participating in commissioning process
- Preparing the Acceptance test documentation and elaborating all the tests for this scole
- The role involves constant learning and attending seminars.
Job Prerequisites:
- Ability to travel around Greece and abroad.
- University Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD 2D, good knowledge of AutoCAD 3D – MEP and/or Revit.
- Good to excellent knowledge of MS Project
- Good Knowledge of HVAC Systems, psychrometry and thermodynamics will be a strong benefit to the candidate.
- Fluent in English Language, German, France, Egyptians, and/or Japanese will be considered an extra advantage.
- Be enthusiastic in learning as working in BCT always involves constant learning of new things, obtaining new skills and taking constant challenges.
