Job Summary
As a Food/Drink Runner, your primary responsibility is to deliver food and beverages promptly, assist the service team, and uphold the high standards of hospitality that define Em Sherif. You will be a key link between the kitchen, bar, and dining room, ensuring our guests’ experience consistently exceeds expectations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist in ensuring their comfort.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately to tables.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables and assisting with side stations.
- Polish glassware, cutlery, and chinaware to maintain Em Sherif’s quality standards.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setup, cleaning, and stock refills.
- Stay informed about daily menus, reservations, and specials.
- Respond courteously to guest requests, ensuring personalized and attentive service.
- Collect guest feedback and share relevant insights with management.
- Comply with hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minumum 1 year as a Runner.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills in English and Greek (both oral and written).
- Knowledge of Arabic or other foreign languages is an advantage.
- Familiarity with POS systems preferred.
