Operate industrial washers, dryers, and finishing equipment efficiently and safely.
Follow proper procedures for washing, drying, ironing, and sanitizing a variety of fabrics, such as linens, towels, uniforms, and curtains.
Understand and apply the correct use of detergents, bleaches, and other cleaning agents based on fabric type and condition to prevent damage.
Ensure all items meet high cleanliness and presentation standards before redistribution.
Manage inventory of detergents and other cleaning materials.
Ensure laundry area cleanliness and implement hygiene and safety protocols.
Assist during peak operational periods and work flexible shifts as required.
Cooperate with other departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Management) to ensure timely linen availability and quality.
Perform other related duties as assigned by hotel operations.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a luxury hotel.
Solid understanding of laundry procedures and textile care for various fabric types.
Ability to safely handle and maintain laundry equipment.
Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in laundry operations.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays during high-demand periods.
Team spirit and ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
Good command of Greek or English.
