Executive Housekeeper

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, organization, and overall guest satisfaction of our establishment. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can lead a team and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.

About the role:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including supervising and coordinating the work of housekeeping staff.
  • Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Train and motivate housekeeping staff, providing guidance, performance feedback, and conducting regular performance evaluations.
  • Ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies, equipment, and amenities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve guest concerns or requests promptly.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and cleanliness goals.
  • Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with other departments and foster a team-oriented work environment.
  • Develop and recommend the budget, labour cost plans and objectives and manages within those approved plans

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department, preferably in a 5*hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and industry standards.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, and other departments.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with housekeeping software or systems is a plus.
