Job Description:

The front office agent is responsible in ensuring that guests are provided with an excellent welcoming service as well as making sure that guests will have a smooth check-in, uncompromising stay, and check out experience. Assist guests efficiently, courteously and professionally at the front office and maintain a high standard of service and quality delivery at all times. Introduction to the different room types and rates.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcome and check in of guests, including processing of group arrivals.
• Check out departing guests
• Be seen as a main point of contact for guest, dealing efficiently with enquiries and any complaints.
• Maximize sales revenue through up selling programs.
• Keep up to date on all hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers as well as daily VIP’s and special events.
• Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
• Responsible to provide customer focused service to the guests , ensuring their stay will become an unforgettable experience. Demonstrate a service attitude and anticipate guest needs.

Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of front office, reservation and housekeeping
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and in English (verbal and written)
• Must be proficient with computers
• Must be highly motivated and passionate about your job
• At least 2 years of relevant experience as front office agent in a 4* property
• Pleasant and friendly personality
• Enthusiastic and guest oriented
• Well-groomed with strong interpersonal skills
• Additional good knowledge of a second foreign language (preferably Italian or Spanish)
• Team work spirit
• Polite and confident
• Ability of multitasking and time-management
• Age up to 45 years old
