We are looking for a Captain as an addition to our team of talented hospitality professionals for our hotels in Skiathos.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner
• Assist guests with table reservations
• Has an excellent knowledge of menu and presentation standards
• Able to anticipate any unexpected guest need and reacts promptly and tactfully
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
• Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift
• Ensures that the restaurant is always kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house areas
• Ensures that hotel brand standards and S.O.P.’s are consistently implemented
• Conducts monthly inventory checks on all operating equipment and supplies. Take an active role in coaching and developing junior staff

Requirement

• 2-4 years of similar or relevant experience
• Strong working knowledge of food and beverage service
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player
• Fluent in English
