Εποχιακός/ήSWOT Hospitality Management Company is seeking a talented and dedicated Sous Chef to join the culinary team at the Ovea Hotel in Paros.
As Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen, delivering exceptional dining experiences that highlight local flavors and fresh ingredients. You will help lead the kitchen team, maintain quality standards, and contribute to menu planning and daily food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff to ensure punctual and high-quality food service.
- Help develop creative and seasonal menus that reflect the culture and cuisine of Paros.
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to promote a positive and productive working environment.
- Monitor food costs, inventory, and minimize waste without compromising quality.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to company standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role, preferably in hotel or resort settings.
- Strong culinary skills with knowledge of Mediterranean and local Greek cuisine.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
