Chief Maintenance

for the Parian Chronicle Destination by Hyatt.

About the role

The Chief Maintenance will oversee all maintenance operations within the hotel, ensuring that the property remains in top physical condition. This role will be responsible for developing maintenance schedules, managing a maintenance team, and implementing effective maintenance programs to uphold safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of maintenance requests and projects.
• Implement and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all hotel facilities and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and comply with safety regulations.
• Manage budgeting for maintenance operations and ensure appropriate utilization of resources.
• Respond to emergencies and operational issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and environmental compliance.

• Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications in maintenance or engineering (Diploma/Degree preferred).
