Position Title: Teppanyaki Chef 

Reports To: Head Chef

Duty-tasks

• Preparing variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables using teppanyaki techniques, often incorporating flair and theatrical elements such as knife tricks and food tossing.
• Interacting with guests, answer questions about the menu, and accommodate special dietary requests when possible.
• Βe able to follow recipes and instructions
• Coordinating with the team smoothly during all the meal preparation and services.
• Monitoring the quality and quantity of food served to the guests.
• Resolving customers' complaints and issues professionally.
• Stay updated with the new trends in the food industry.

Knowledge-skills

• Experience in Japanese cuisine, particularly in teppanyaki-style cooking
• Be comfortable performing in front of an audience
• Able to handle high-pressure environments
• Professionalism, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
• Good hygiene knowledge and HACCP Standards
• Culinary degree 
• Creativity, precision, and a passion for food presentation
