Position Overview

As a Sommelier, you will oversee the wine program with expertise, passion, and attention to detail. You will curate the wine list, manage the cellar, and deliver world‑class service that reflects the distinct character and standards of the Luxury Collection brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide sophisticated, knowledgeable wine service to guests in alignment with Luxury Collection standards.
• Guide guests through wine selections and offer thoughtful, personalized pairing recommendations.
• Maintain and update the wine list, inventory, and all aspects of wine cellar management.
• Ensure proper storage, presentation, and service of all wines and champagnes.
• Build strong relationships with wine suppliers and participate in tastings to enhance the program.
• Train and support restaurant and bar teams in wine knowledge and service techniques.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service practices and follow all Marriott policies and safety standards.
• Deliver warm, intuitive, and polished guest service in a luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Sommelier in a luxury or fine‑dining setting.
• Strong knowledge of global wine regions, vintages, and varietals.
• Exceptional communication and guest‑relationship skills.
• Certification from a recognized wine institution (WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, etc.) is an asset.
• Passion for hospitality and genuine dedication to elevated service.
