Position: Sushi Chef (ONUKI ATHENS)

About the Role
ONUKI Athens is seeking talented and passionate Sushi Chefs to join our culinary team. Working closely with the Head Sushi Chef, you will bring creativity, precision, and artistry to every dish — ensuring each sushi platter reflects the highest standards of Japanese craftsmanship and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi and sashimi of exceptional quality, maintaining authentic techniques and visual excellence.
• Execute detailed knife work with precision and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with the Head Sushi Chef and the multicultural kitchen team.
• Uphold the restaurant’s high-end standards in food quality, safety, and presentation.
• Contribute to an engaging and professional team environment.

Position Requirements

• Minimum3 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end, high-volume restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Proven expertise in preparingnigiri, sashimi, and rolls of the highest quality.
• Strongteamwork and communication skills; a positive, passionate attitude is essential.
• Ability to perform calmly and efficiently under pressure.
• Must beeligible to work in Europe and hold an EU passport.
• Excellent command ofEnglish
