Role Overview

As a Service Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the service departments while maintaining the highest standards of guest experience. You will lead and inspire the team, oversee daily operations, and ensure that all services are delivered according to H Hotels Collection quality standards and hospitality philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all assigned service departments.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of departmental procedures to ensure outstanding guest service.
  • Supervise and support staff, ensuring high standards in appearance, behavior, cleanliness, service quality, and guest interaction.
  • Train, motivate, and guide team members to achieve departmental goals and service excellence.
  • Plan and coordinate departmental procurement and operational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
  • Prepare and manage employee schedules, ensuring effective staffing levels and adherence to operational requirements.
  • Address and resolve guest feedback or operational challenges in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar managerial or supervisory role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent command of English (additional foreign languages will be considered an asset).
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to resolve guest and team-related challenges effectively.
  • Good computer literacy and familiarity with hotel systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 22000 management systems will be considered an advantage.
