We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sommelier to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enriching the guest experience through expert wine service and recommendations. Your knowledge in wine service, thoughtful pairings and in-depth product expertise will contribute to elevate the guest experience and provide a memorable dining journey.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional wine service, including tailored recommendations, precise pairings and professional presentations that elevate the guest experience
- Maintain the wine cellar, ensuring proper storage conditions and managing inventory
- Participate in regular wine tastings and training sessions conducted by the Head Sommelier for the front of house team, ensuring consistency and excellence in service
- Share insights into the characteristics and stories behind selected wines
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sommelier
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for creating a memorable guest experience
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composed and professional demeanour
- Fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Certification from a recognised sommelier program is
