Job Overview
The Marketing Manager forms part of the SWOT Headquarters Marketing Team based in Athens and he/she makes key strategic decisions for the hotel Marketing, ensuring its flawless implementation. The MM oversees and handles all Communication, PR activities with the support of the Marketing Director and other teams including Sales, F&B, Revenue Management, Operations, and external agencies to promote the hotel brand, Room Revenue, and F&B Revenue.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement the hotel's Annual Marketing Plans and submit the marketing budget.
- Contribute to the brand identity development of new properties/outlets/services, in partnership with the Advertising agency.
- Be in contact with the International Hotel Brands’s MKG teams, ensuring compliance with brand policies and guidelines.
- Liaise with local and international digital agencies for the design, implementation, and optimization of digital campaigns.
- Generate digital content for Print, social media & digital use, in partnership with the Creative Agency and Talents
- Manage the website development with the digital agency and update content regularly with news, press, new services, new assets, etc.
- Design and execute the local and international media plan.
- Design the SM calendar for hotels, with the assistance of the creative agency.
- Design the hotels’ DB campaigns, via Newsletter, Viber, etc.
- Liaise with Local and International PR agencies to successfully promote the (opening of the) hotel and boost awareness and desirability with press releases, media trips, and influencer visits.
- Manage Photo and video shootings and ensure the approved assets are shared with all stakeholders.
- Manage the design and creation of the Hotel’s collateral material.
- Review and monitor the MKG budget monthly.
- Contribute to the hotel services and experiences collaborating with the Operation Team and General Manager.
- Support the Sales team with the provision of the required material to promote the Hotels in Wholesalers, OTA, B2B, etc
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree; preferred in Marketing or Hospitality
- 3-5 years of previous employment in a related position, in hospitality, luxury brands, international brands, or digital/advertising agencies.
- Social media and digital campaigns understanding.
- Fluency in English
- Canva, Photoshop or other designing tool use, preferred.
