Requirements

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the housekeeping department.
  • Ensure all guest rooms, suites, and public areas meet the hotel’s luxury standards.
  • Monitor compliance with hygiene, safety, and internal SOPs.
  • Mentor, guide, and develop housekeeping staff to maintain high performance and engagement.
  • Manage rosters, task allocation, and departmental workflow efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Front Office, F&B, Maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Participate in quality inspections and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints related to housekeeping professionally and promptly.
  • Oversee inventory, supplies, and cost management of departmental resources.

Skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within 4*–5* hotels or luxury resorts.
  • Deep knowledge of housekeeping standards, SOPs, and luxury service protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making abilities.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages considered an asset.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and guest-focused demeanor.
