About the Role
The Cook B’ supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation and service, contributing to a smooth and efficient operation in our premium beach bar and restaurant. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow within a professional kitchen environment while learning high standards of culinary execution and teamwork.
Under the guidance of senior kitchen staff, the Cook B’ ensures preparation tasks are completed accurately, hygiene standards are met, and service runs smoothly during busy periods.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, mise en place, and basic cooking tasks.
- Support Cook A’ and senior kitchen staff during service.
- Follow recipes, preparation guidelines, and instructions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.Comply with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Support waste reduction and kitchen efficiency initiatives.
- Learn and develop skills across different kitchen sections.
- Contribute positively to a cooperative and professional kitchen environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and learning culinary skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to follow instructions.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and seasonal schedules.
- Fluency in English is an advantage.
