We seek an experienced and refined Sommelier to join our luxury hotel dining team. The ideal candidate will deliver an exceptional wine experience to our guests while driving beverage sales through expert recommendations and personalized service

Duties & Responsibilities

• Curate, manage, and present the wine list in line with the hotel’s luxury standards

• Advise guests on wine selections and food pairings to enhance their dining experience

• Actively upsell premium wines, rare labels, and beverage experiences

• Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory control of all wines

• Train and support service staff on wine knowledge and service techniques

• Collaborate with management on wine promotions and special events

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sommelier in a luxury hotel or fine-dining environment.  A Marriott experience will be considered an advantage.

• Strong sales background with demonstrated ability to drive beverage revenue

• Recognized sommelier certification or equivalent professional training

• Excellent communication, presentation, and guest engagement skills

• In-depth knowledge of wines, regions, and tasting techniques

• Professional appearance and a passion for high-end hospitality
