Porto Platanias Hotels & Resorts treats Guest Relations as a function of trust and judgment.
This role exists not to react, but to listen, anticipate, and resolve.

We are looking for a Guest Relations Officer who understands that meaningful guest care is quiet, precise, and intentional — not performative or scripted.

The Role

This is a guest-facing and cross-departmental role.

Your responsibility is not to follow scripts, but to:

  • understand guest needs
  • manage expectations
  • resolve issues with discretion
  • protect the overall guest experience

You work closely with Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, and Management.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for guest feedback and special requests
  • Anticipate guest needs and follow up proactively
  • Handle complaints and concerns with calm judgment
  • Coordinate with departments to resolve issues effectively
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and records
  • Monitor guest satisfaction during the stay

What This Role Is NOT

  • Not a call-center or reactive complaint desk
  • Not suitable for avoidance of difficult conversations
  • Not a role without accountability

If you rely on charm instead of resolution, this role is not a fit.

Requirements

Applications will be considered only from candidates who have:

  • Previous experience in Guest Relations, Front Office, or hospitality
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to remain calm in sensitive situations
  • Clear judgment and problem-solving ability
  • Professional discretion and confidentiality
  • Fluency in English (additional languages a plus)
