The Restaurant Captain is not the most visible server — but the most reliable point of control.
We are looking for a Restaurant Captain who understands that leadership on the floor is expressed through timing, coordination, and calm authority.
The Role
This is a floor leadership role.
Your responsibility is not to “run around and fix things,” but to:
- organize service flow
- support servers
- coordinate with the kitchen
- maintain standards throughout service
You are the bridge between service staff and management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee service flow during shifts
- Support and guide servers and junior staff
- Coordinate timing and communication with the kitchen
- Ensure service standards are followed consistently
- Handle guest issues on the floor with discretion
- Maintain order, pace, and professionalism during service
- Support Service Manager and Restaurant Manager
- Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures
What This Role Is NOT
- Not suitable for chaotic or reactive leadership
- Not a purely hands-on waiter position
- Not a role without accountability
If you lead through volume instead of clarity, this role is not a fit.
Requirements
Applications will be considered only from candidates who have:
- Proven experience as Restaurant Captain, Head Waiter, or Senior Server
- Background in structured restaurant or hotel operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lead calmly under pressure
- Respect for hierarchy, standards, and teamwork
