Position Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Reservation Agent to join our central reservations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing reservation requests across our portfolio of boutique hotels and villas, ensuring a seamless and high-quality booking experience for our guests.
The Reservation Agent will act as a key point of contact between guests and the properties, providing accurate information, handling bookings efficiently, and supporting revenue growth through effective upselling and attention to detail. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a guest-centric mindset aligned with the Sandglass philosophy of meaningful and personalized hospitality.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Booking Management: Receive, process, and confirm reservations via phone, email, or online platforms.
- Customer Service: Provide accurate information regarding rates, availability, property facilities, and cancellation policies.
- Sales & Upselling: Maximize revenue by promoting room upgrades, special packages, and additional services.
- Administrative Tasks: Accurately enter guest data into Property Management Systems (Opera Cloud), process payments, and issue confirmations.
- Handle booking modifications, cancellations professionally to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements & Skills
- Education: a degree in Hospitality or Tourism is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reservation software (preferably Opera) and basic office applications.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Greek; additional languages are a strong plus
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
