Barista/Bartender

Role:

Nikki Beach Resort and Spa Porto Heli is seeking for a Barista / Bartender for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverage selections while delivering warm, professional, and personalized service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, cocktails, and other drink selections, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and exceptional presentation.
• Welcome guests warmly and engage with them professionally to understand preferences and provide personalized beverage recommendations.
• Present and describe beverage offerings and menu items in an engaging, knowledgeable, and confident manner.
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization in all bar and café areas, including equipment, glassware, tools, and workstations.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately through the hotel’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Monitor, restock, and manage bar and café inventory, ensuring adequate supply levels and proper storage at all times.
• Collaborate closely with the wider hotel team to ensure smooth service flow and timely beverage delivery, particularly during peak service periods.
• Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, maintaining a safe and professional working environment.
• Assist with the setup, preparation, and breakdown of bar and café areas at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Actively promote the hotel’s beverage offerings, including seasonal specials, signature drinks, and new menu items, enhancing the overall guest experience.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, including customized or special-order beverages, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Barista or Bartender in a 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and cocktail service; relevant certifications will be considered an advantage.
• Degree or diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field will be considered an asset.
• Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Experience with POS systems is preferred
