About the Role
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our premium beach bar and restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery, exceptional guest experience, and strong operational performance. This role requires a dynamic, hands-on leader with a strong understanding of high-volume hospitality, lifestyle dining, and elevated beach club environments.
Working closely with senior management and department leaders, the General Manager ensures that service, atmosphere, and operational standards consistently reflect a refined yet vibrant hospitality concept aligned with our values of quality, authenticity, and contemporary luxury.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the beach bar and restaurant, ensuring smooth service flow across all areas.
- Ensure consistent implementation of service standards, SOPs, and brand guidelines.
- Maintain high visibility on the floor, leading service by example and supporting teams during peak hours.
- Anticipate and resolve operational challenges swiftly to maintain an uninterrupted guest experience.
- Ensure an exceptional, engaging, and personalized guest journey in a fast-paced, premium beach environment.
- Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and empathy.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, online reviews, and service feedback, implementing improvements as needed.
- Lead, motivate, and support supervisors and line staff across bar, restaurant, beach service, and support functions.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of seasonal and permanent staff.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and professional team culture aligned with premium lifestyle hospitality.
- Ensure staff are trained in service standards, upselling techniques, and guest engagement.
- Support revenue optimization through service efficiency, guest engagement, and effective upselling.
- Monitor labor costs, productivity, and daily operational expenses.
- Assist in achieving revenue targets while maintaining quality and service consistency.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of service areas, kitchen, bar, and beach facilities.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Manager, Operations Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Supervisor in a premium beach bar, beach club, restaurant, or lifestyle hospitality venue.
- Strong understanding of high-volume food & beverage operations.
- Hands-on leadership style with excellent people management skills.
- Guest-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, seasonal environment.
- Financial awareness with experience in cost control and operational efficiency.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a strong advantage.
