Cook B

Porto Platanias Hotels & Resorts operates kitchens built on preparation, order, and consistency.
Cook B is not a supporting role in name only — it is a reliable execution role within the brigade.

We are looking for a Cook B who understands that quality is achieved through repetition, discipline, and respect for standards.


The Role

This is a hands-on operational kitchen role.

Your responsibility is not to lead the kitchen, but to:

  • execute accurately

  • support Cook A and Sous Chef

  • maintain rhythm and order during service

You are expected to work independently on your section while respecting hierarchy and procedures.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute dishes according to recipes and standards

  • Maintain mise en place and section organization

  • Support Cook A and kitchen leadership during service

  • Ensure cleanliness and order in your work area

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures

  • Communicate clearly with the kitchen team

  • Maintain consistency during high-volume service


What This Role Is NOT

  • Not an entry-level training position

  • Not an experimental role

  • Not suitable for improvisation without approval

  • Not a role without responsibility

If you are not comfortable with standards and repetition, this role is not a fit.


Requirements

Applications will be considered only from candidates who have:

  • Previous experience as Cook B or equivalent kitchen role

  • Background in hotels, resorts, or structured kitchens (preferred)

  • Basic understanding of kitchen organization and service flow

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure

  • Respect for hierarchy, procedures, and teamwork
