Mare Village Ayia Napa, member of Wavemaker Hospitality, is seeking an experienced and passionate Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality desserts that meet the resort’s standards and enhance our guests’ dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present a variety of desserts, pastries and cakes
• Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation of all pastry items
• Assist in menu planning and development of new dessert creations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section in line with HACCP standards
• Manage stock, ingredients, and minimize food waste
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef
• Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive and professional attitude
• Attention to detail and passion for high-quality results
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• EU citizenship or valid work permit for Cyprus
