Job requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a 4* or 5* hotel.
  • Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, room standards and luxury hospitality standards.
  • Previous experience as a maid is considered an advantage.
  • Good command of English for effective communication with guests and colleagues.
  • Leadership, communication and team management skills. 
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to further develop professionally.
  • Basic computer literacy for daily reporting and departmental documentation.
  • Professional appearance and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
Job responsibilities
  • Supervises the housekeeping team, including maids, housemen, public area cleaners, staff house cleaners, and laundry personnel, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Inspects guest rooms and all common areas to confirm that cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance meet the hotel’s established standards.
  • Coordinates and organizes daily work schedules, assigning tasks based on operational needs and occupancy levels.
  • Maintains effective communication with other hotel departments—such as Room Service, Front Office, Maintenance, and Spa—facilitating information flow and resolving issues promptly.
  • Records and reports daily faults or maintenance issues, ensuring timely follow-up and corrective actions.
  • Oversees the Lost & Found process, ensuring accurate documentation, safe storage, and proper return of guest items.
  • Handles guest requests and ensures their needs are met promptly, contributing to overall guest satisfaction.
  • Identifies, addresses, and helps prevent operational issues within the department to maintain efficiency and service quality.
  • Ensures adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and operating standards, guiding the team towards consistent compliance.
  • Monitors and enforces hygiene, safety, and appearance standards, ensuring a safe and professional working environment.
  • Participates in the training, evaluation, and ongoing support of staff, promoting consistency and high performance.
