The Operations Manager will oversee the daily functioning of all hotel departments, ensuring seamless operations, exceptional guest experience, and consistent service standards. This role requires active on-site presence, strong coordination skills, and the ability to supervise processes across multiple areas of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and support the daily operations of all hotel departments, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
• Supervise Front Office procedures (check-in/out, payments, guest communication, call and email handling), ensuring high-quality service.
• Create, manage, and adjust departmental schedules; delegate tasks and follow up on completion.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Housekeeping, Maintenance, and F&B to guarantee timely and effective service delivery.
• Monitor weekly the operation, condition, and readiness of hotel rooms, ensuring standards are consistently met.
• Track and manage departmental orders, stock levels, and operational supplies.
• Communicate with suppliers, process orders, and oversee relationships.
• Guide, support, and motivate the Front Office and operational teams; participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure all employees operate in a compliant and safe environment.
• Prepare operational reports and provide timely feedback to the headquarters.
• Manage service recovery processes and monitor customer satisfaction.
• Be available on call for emergencies and critical operational needs.
• Perform any additional duties relevant to the effective management of the hotel.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar operational role.
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of a second language is considered an asset.
• Strong computer skills and experience with PMS systems.
• Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management.
• Excellent time-management, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on leadership style with high attention to detail.
