Role Overview

A steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, including washing dishes/equipment, organizing workspaces, and supporting chefs with basic cleaning tasks.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and staff canteen areas
  • Cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
  • Assisting with inventory management and restocking supplies
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward, preferably in a hotel setting
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Flexibility in working hours and shifts

Candidate’s Profile:

  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Pleasant personality and ability to follow instructions
  • Good communication skills
