Role Overview

Demi Chef de Partieis responsible for preparing and cooking dishes according to established recipes, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and assisting with inventory control. This role also involves supporting Chef de Partie in supervising and training junior kitchen staff (Commis Chef).

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • Preparing and cooking dishes according to established recipes and standards
  • Assisting Chef de Partie in supervising and training junior kitchen staff (Commis Chef)
  • Ensuring food items are prepared to meet quality standards and are presented according to menu specifications
  • Maintaining kitchen hygiene and cleanliness in assigned workstations
  • Assisting in inventory control by monitoring stock levels and informing Chef de Partie or kitchen management of low supplies
  • Following all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Working in a timely and efficient manner to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
  • Assisting in the organization and storage of food ingredients according to safety and sanitation guidelines

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in hospitality, or the luxury industry
  • Α Degree/Diploma in culinary
  • Knowledge of English language

  • Good organizational & time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong team player & result-oriented
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Pleasant personality, customer oriented
