Role Overview

The Groom will be primarily responsible for greeting and welcoming all guests to the hotel and relieving guests of their luggage upon their arrival and departure.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Assisting guests with their luggage upon arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth and welcoming check-in/check-out experience.
  • Escorting guests to their rooms and providing information about hotel facilities and services.
  • Assisting with guest inquiries, offering recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, and activities.
  • Delivering messages, packages, and amenities to guest rooms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensuring that guest luggage is safely stored in the designated storage area when required.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized bell desk and/or luggage storage area.
  • Coordinating with the front desk and other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
  • Monitoring and managing the transportation schedule, assisting guests with transportation arrangements.
  • Providing exceptional customer service, addressing any guest requests or issues with courtesy and efficiency.
  • Assisting guests with special requests, such as arranging for additional amenities or services during their stay.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar role in the 5-star hotels or high-volume venues
  • Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional language will be considered an asset

  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
  • Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
  • Pleasant personality, team player and customer oriented
