Role Overview
This role ensures high cleanliness standards across rooms, public areas, and co-operation with laundry, while supporting staff scheduling, training, and performance. It maintains compliance with brand and ISO standards, collaborates closely with Front Office and Maintenance teams, and manages departmental reports with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Key Accountabilities:
- Check daily the condition and the cleanliness of the hotel rooms and public areas
- Ensure that all storage areas are always maintained clean and tidy
- Responsible for the laundry operation
- Staff scheduling
- Participate actively in training and performance monitoring of all Housekeeping team members
- Ensure that all Brand Standards, ISO procedures and hotel policies are followed constantly and in the right way from all team members aiming to achieve the highest guest satisfaction
- Collaborate closely with the Front Office team for room priorities, guest requests and preferences
- Collaborate closely with the Maintenance team for the condition of all rooms and public areas
- Participate actively in all Departmental and Management Meetings
- Prepare all relevant periodic reports including monthly inventory and provide suggestions for improvement
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within 5-star hotels
- Degree or Diploma in Tourism or a related field
- Basic knowledge of PMS (Opera, Fidelio etc)
- User of Microsoft Office
- Excellent command of the English language
