Role Overview
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces within the hotel or resort. The role requires ensuring that all areas are cleaned to company standards and that guests experience a welcoming, fresh, and comfortable environment.
Requirements
Key Accountabilities:
- Cleaning and servicing guest rooms to the highest standards, including bed making, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing.
- Anticipating guest needs and providing personalized services such as extra linens, amenities, or special requests.
- Ensuring all room areas are thoroughly cleaned, stocked with toiletries, and fixtures are in working order.
- Cleaning and maintaining public areas, including hallways, lounges, and restrooms, ensuring a pristine environment.
- Reporting maintenance issues or concerns to management immediately for prompt resolution.
- Maintaining and organizing inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, ensuring proper stock levels.
- Following hotel health and safety procedures for cleaning and sanitation to ensure guest and staff safety.
- Always ensuring confidentiality and respect for guest privacy.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within 5-star hotels
- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of English language
