About the Role
We are looking for a Front Office Manager to join our Boutique luxury hotel in Rhodes. This role is unique as it combines Front Office leadership with Guest Relations responsibilities, ensuring a personalized and memorable experience for every guest. You will oversee all aspects of Front Office operations while acting as the primary point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional service and creating bespoke experiences that reflect the intimate nature of a boutique property.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all Front Office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
- Lead, train, and inspire the Front Office team to provide warm, professional, and personalized service.
- Act as the main liaison for guest relations, handling inquiries, special requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain a strong presence in public areas to engage with guests and ensure their needs are met.
- Create tailored experiences that enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analyze guest feedback and online reviews to continuously improve service quality.
- Oversee room allocation and manage arrivals/departures in coordination with Reservations.
- Monitor Front Office revenue streams, including upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Reservations, Housekeeping, F&B) to ensure seamless operations.
- Ensure accurate handling of reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
- Manage staff scheduling and shift planning in coordination with the Hotel Manager.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Tourism or Hospitality Management (or equivalent).
- Minimum 3+ years in a similar role within a boutique or luxury 5-star hotel.
- Excellent command of English; additional language (German or French) preferred.
- Proficiency in Opera PMS or similar reservation management systems.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 22000 management systems.
- Understanding of workplace Health & Safety standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to organize, coordinate, and guide teams.
- Customer-centric mindset with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage unexpected situations effectively.
