In a nutshell

We are seeking a meticulous and service-oriented Night Auditor to ensure the accuracy of all daily financial transactions, support smooth night operations, and provide warm, efficient service in line with Daios Cove’s standards.

Key Responsibilities

Night Audit Operations

• Post room charges, taxes, and guest transactions accurately in Opera PMS.
• Process guest charge vouchers and credit card transactions with proper documentation.
• Verify that all Front Desk transactions are correctly posted and supported by necessary records.
• Ensure all postings from the hotel’s POS systems and the Spa’s Aphrodite software are correctly transferred to guest folios with no discrepancies.
• Transfer charges and deposits to appropriate master accounts.
• Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Balance and close the day’s accounts, resolving discrepancies where needed.
• Run End-of-Day procedures and prepare audit reports for management review.

Front Office Support

• Perform check-in and check-out procedures when needed.
• Verify room rates, discounts, and promotional programs for accuracy.
• Track revenues, occupancy, and Front Office statistics.
• Print and organize reservations for the next day.
• Perform wake-up calls and respond to guest requests courteously.
• Handle and escalate guest concerns as appropriate.
• Balance nightly in-room entertainment and long-distance call charges.
• Ensure full knowledge of hotel emergency procedures.
• Operate Opera PMS and other FO equipment confidently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a Front Office role, ideally in a 5-star luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong numerical ability, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Experience with Opera PMS is essential.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
• Professional appearance and guest-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English required; Greek or other languages are a plus.
