We are actively seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Sales for Empiria Group, a leading luxury hospitality group in Glyfada,Greece.

About the Role

As a Director of Sales, you will lead the overall sales strategy and operations across Empiria Group’s portfolio of luxury hotels and villas. You will play a key role in driving revenue, enhancing market share, and positioning the Group competitively in global luxury travel markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of sales operations across all properties to achieve revenue and market share goals.
• Strategically position new hotel projects as premier luxury destinations, especially in the US market.
• Collaborate closely with Revenue and Marketing teams to optimize pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to ensure KPI achievement.
• Manage relationships with Sales Representatives across key international source markets.
• Drive B2B and B2C business development across leisure, OTA, events, and MICE sectors.
• Establish, monitor, and manage the annual sales budget.
• Analyze BI reporting and sales performance to develop targeted action plans.
• Represent the Group at international trade shows, client events, and sales road trips.
• Uphold and promote the Empiria Group brand identity and culture.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in hospitality sales, with at least 3 years in a senior or cluster role.
• Experience in luxury hotels or multi-property groups, preferably in Greece or the Mediterranean.
• Proven success in launching or repositioning luxury hotels or resorts.
• Strong understanding of distribution systems, BI tools, CRM platforms, and sales analytics.
• Solid revenue management and forecasting knowledge.
• Strong grasp of digital and direct sales channels, consortia, and OTAs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of MICE markets and high-end group business.
• Knowledge of Marriott systems will be considered an asset.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
