About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Food & Beverage Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece the Senior Waiter provides the highest level of service and professional excellence, while being ever present in the outlet operation. The Senior Waiter reports to the F&B Supervisor.
As Senior Waiter, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide respectful and generous service to both guests and colleagues.
- Follow all service steps thoroughly, requesting assistance promptly to avoid service delays.
- Manage the opening and closing of the outlet, including mise en place and setup.
- Maintain cleanliness in service and back-of-house areas.
- Attend pre-service briefings and ensure tasks are followed up efficiently.
- Operate the POS system and prepare bills accurately.
As Senior Waiter, we expect from you:
- Valid EU Passport or Hellenic Residence Permit.
- 1 year of F&B service experience.
- Fluency in English.
