Εποχιακός/ήSWOT Hospitality is excited to announce an opening for the position of General Manager at the stunning M Gallery by Accor - Samos. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring that guest experiences are memorable while achieving the financial objectives of the property. An ideal candidate will combine exceptional leadership skills with a strong operational background in the luxury hotel market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional service standards and guest experiences in line with the M Gallery by Accor brand ethos.
- Manage daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement marketing and business strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Hire, train, and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.
- Act as a primary point of communication between guests and hotel staff, ensuring all guest needs are met.
- Maintain compliance with brand standards and local regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of hotel services and amenities, implementing improvements as needed.
- Be an active presence within the hotel, engaging with guests and staff alike.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
The General Manager must demonstrate the ability to perform each responsibility successfully. The requirements listed below represent the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of four to five years of management experience in a luxury hotel environment, preferably with experience in opening a hotel.
- Proven record of achieving financial goals and enhancing guest satisfaction.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and budget management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive performance improvements.
- Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.
