Our boutique hotel in Mykonos is seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Head Waiters/Waitresses. The candidate must be able to create a pleasant and welcoming environment, at all times, and constantly display feelings of positivity and calmness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Provide warm, friendly, and efficient service to guests, addressing their needs and preferences with professionalism and a genuine smile.
 - Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with our menu offerings, including daily specials, and provide recommendations to guests, taking into account their tastes and dietary requirements.
 - Order Management: Take guest orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring they are delivered to the kitchen promptly and that the correct dishes are served.
 - Table Setup: Set and reset dining tables with impeccable attention to detail, ensuring they are clean and properly arranged for each guest.
 - Suggestive Selling: Upsell our offerings, such as wine pairings, desserts, and other special promotions, to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
 - Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the waitstaff, kitchen, and bar teams to ensure smooth and coordinated service.
 - Quality Control: Monitor the quality and presentation of dishes before serving them to guests, and address any issues promptly.
 - Beverage Service: Serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, with precision and knowledge of proper pouring techniques.
 - Billing and Payments: Process guest checks accurately, handle payments, and provide guests with a smooth and efficient check-out experience.
 - Cleanliness and Hygiene: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including clearing and cleaning tables, and adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards.
 
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining or upscale hotel environment is preferred but not mandatory.
 - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
 - A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
 - Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques.
 - Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
 - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
