Reservations Supervisor

Reporting to the Front Office Manager and based in Ace hotel at Glyfada.
Job Requirements
- Negotiating room rates/packages.
- Verifies that all incoming calls and email requests are answered in a timely and efficient manner.
- Handle all VIP and group reservations.
- Analyzing market trends and monitor competitor’s activity in order to identify business leads.
- Preparing company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
- Producing accurate and timely reports.
- Working with partners and senior staff to improve the sales and reservations process.
- Cooperating with the Revenue Manager in order to monitor room occupancy
- overbooking and revenue.
- Attend Sales events as required.
- Managing reservations performance in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Developing and improving existing programs, data bases and procedures.
- Works closely with hospitality team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
What are we looking for?
- Degree-level qualification in relevant field. Post Graduate qualification would be advantageous
- Minimum 3 years experience in similar position in the hotel or travel industry, ideally with a Front Office & Reservations Background
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Passion for sales and achieving targets and objectives
- Excellent knowledge of OPERA PMS & SynXis
- Excellent command of the English language. A second European language will be an advantage.
