Front of House Porter / Groom

Position Summary:
The Front of House Porter/ Groom primarily will be responsible for to serve as the first point of contact to assist Aluma Hotels & Resorts guests. Also, in this role, one should be able to manage various tasks on a daily basis to ensure great customer service and that company’s operations run smoothly.
Scope:
- Reports to Front Office agent
- Carry and label guests’ luggage with tags
- Direct guests to the reception area or the appropriate office/room
- Arrange taxi services upon request
- Run errands for guests and employees
- Ensure building entrance is free of clutter at all times
- Follow evacuation rules in case of emergencies
Prerequisites:
- One or more years working experience in a similar role in the hospitality sector
- Degree / Diploma in Hospitality/Tourism will be an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of English language
- A second language will be considered as a plus
