As Operations Manager, the successful candidate will assist the Hotel Manager in overseeing the day-to-day running of the hotel. The successful candidate will be a key driver of operational excellence, financial performance, quality service, and employee engagement – ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience.
Key qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in the Hospitality / Hotel Management industry
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar position within the industry
- Excellent leadership and people management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of English and Greek language
- Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities simultaneously.
- High level of customer service orientation and guest-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in financial management and cost control.
- Strong organizational and process improvement skills.
- Computer Literacy (MS Office)
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall Hotel and Village Square operations
- Coordinate and communicate with all Hotel departments ensuring daily smooth operation.
- Control operational costs without affecting the overall quality of service offered
- Fully responsible for all aspects of all departments & Product Development
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required
- Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the Guest experience
- Respond to guest needs and resolve related problems
- Oversee and implement Company’s Specifications and Directives
- Supervision & close monitoring of Quality Systems. (ISO-HACCP-Environmental-Health & Safety)
- Implementation and monitoring of all Control system and procedures
- Closely monitor of local sales and upgrades
- Achievement of Tour Operators CSQ Target Results and Trip Advisor ratings
- Dealing with Suppliers / Vendors for quality products involving Purchase Manager and providing performance assessment of vendors where and if necessary
- Inspecting all departments for SOP’s implementation
- Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required
- Monitor and maintain operation & overhead cost in order to maintain maximum revenue
- Any other duties as assigned by the Management
