SWOT Hospitality, a leading hospitality management company in Greece, proudly collaborates with some of the world’s most prestigious hotel brands, including Marriott International, Accor and Hyatt,.

As part of our dynamic expansion, we are currently seeking to recruit experienced and motivated General Managers for Resorts to lead our upcoming projects in some of Greece’s most iconic destinations – Paros, Lemnos, Samos, Mykonos, and Crete.

 

The General Manager is responsible for leading a resort's operational strategy, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and maximizing profitability. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of resort management, staff leadership, and guest relations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through personal interaction and effective service delivery from all departments.
  • Achieve budgeted revenue and profit goals while maintaining focus on cost controls.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to build a motivated and effective management team.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations ensuring compliance with resort policies and standards.
  • Prepare and review operating reports and financial statements, providing insight and direction for improvement.
  • Implement marketing strategies to enhance the resort's presence and attract new guests.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure repeat business.
  • Maintain the resort's facilities and grounds to the highest standards.
  • Ensure all department managers are equipped with the knowledge and resources necessary to perform their jobs effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in hotel/resort management or a related role.
  • Proven leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of revenue management techniques and practices.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
