APHI Aura, Rhodes, Autograph Collection seeks a motivated and spirited professional as an F&B Manager to guide the dining experience from first sip to last bite.
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our culinary and service operations, maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction. You'll be the driving force behind creating a welcoming atmosphere that exceeds guest expectations, from the first impression to the last bite.
Key job responsibilities:
Overall Management of the F&B Department following the Financial & Quality targets, directives and standards as set by the company, including the following:
- F&B budget preparation and follow-up.
- F&B Quality & Financial results follow-up and reporting.
- Menu planning in cooperation with the Chef & Bar Manager and following the specifications of the product.
- F&B Stock and Purchasing Control.
- Organisation and follow-up of Hotel F&B services, F&B outlets and functions
- Close cooperation with the Hotel Controller for F&B menus, costing and F&B control procedures.
- F&B staff hiring, training, development and supervision following the brand’s standards
- Supervision of monthly F&B stock takings.
- F&B sales promotion and product development.
- Make sure that quality systems & procedures run smoothly (HACCP, ISO 9001, and H&S).
- Be present during restaurant service hours to control service and PR with clients.
- Duty management shifts.
- Be present at daily & weekly Management meetings and management cocktail.
- Control of F&B staff weekly schedules/productivity
- Any other matter related to the maximisation of Financial & Quality results of his department
Requirements:
- Hotel Management Diploma
- 5 years’ experience in the Hotel Industry in luxury property, 3 years’ experience in similar positions. A Marriott experience will be considered an advantage.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken. Any other language is an advantage.
- Good computer knowledge
- Be trained and have relevant knowledge for implementation of the following management systems: ISO 9001;14001; 22000& OSHAS
- Culinary knowledge
- Good organizational and management skills.
- Be able to work under pressure, with time limits and long hours.
